How long does a repair take?

We aim to repair your device as quickly as possible without compromising on quality. We offer an express repair service, where parts and resources are available. Common devices can be repaired in-store within an hour, whilst postal repairs are either same or following day. Whole screen replacments take up to 1 hour. Glass replacements will take a few hours and are usually done on the same day. For repairs which are less common, or where the parts are not in stock, we will advise you how long the repair is likely to take upon receipt of your device.

What should I do before handing over my device?

Will my repair be made using original parts?

We will offer you a choice between original or the best available compatable screens/ parts, price may vary.

When should I have a glass replacement rather than full screen replacement?

If you have a cracked/ smashed glass screen and your LCD and touch screen digitizer still work, we will offer you a glass screen replacement rather than a full screen replacement. This service allows you to replace the broken glass without loosing the original screen display. If the black LCD is damaged at all i.e. lines on the screen, black patches or no display, then a full screen replacement is required. This service uses new top of the range technology, where our technicians restore the item to factory condition quickly and efficiently. Once repair is completed, the screen is tested with a calibration tester for brightness, contrast, colour saturation and pixel loss.

What if my device is lost or damaged?

For posted items it is recommended to send to us via a signed-for delivery service. This way if an item goes missing while being shipped to us, you can take it up with the delivery provider. Your phone will be sent back to you via Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery Service. We will send you a tracking number for you to check the delivery status. A £5 charge is applicable if you wish to upgrade to Special Next Day delivery insured up to £500. With regards to an item being damaged, please contact us providing details of what has been damaged, sending photos where applicable and we will seek to rectify the issue.

How long will it take for my device to be delivered back to me?

All orders placed before 4pm Monday - Friday, will be shipped the same day. Any orders placed outside these times will be shipped the next working day, excluding bank holidays and are subject to stock availability. Your device will be sent back to you via Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery Service. We will send you a tracking number for you to check the delivery status. 1st Class Delivery can take between 1-3 working days from the dispatch date. If you wish to upgrade to Special Next Day Delivery Service, which is insured up to £500, a £5 charge is applicable.

Do you provide a warranty for my repair?

We provide either 30 or 90 days warranty on all parts provided during the repair subject to no physical or liquid damage.

What happens if my device has liquid damage?

If your device has been damaged by liquid, opening it up could set off further damage. In some cases this may be very serious and irreparable. We advise you to try to dry it out as much as possible prior to giving it to us to repair. We will do our best to repair it, but we do not accept any responsibility for any progression of damage caused by the liquid damage. Following repair, any water proofing or resistance cannot be guaranteed.
